EnerKite develops airborne wind energy systems - automated kite systems, harnessing the steady, strong winds above the blade tips of todays wind turbines. More than 6000 full load hours and about 50% lower cost of energy will make kite power an inexpensive and reliable power source. Our products under development are portable wind-storage-container at 100kW for self supply in off- and ongrid applications, followed by utility scale units in the MW range.
