More than 4,500 m² of space firmly booked / commitments from OEMs and German industry leaders
Husum | 25 October 2019 – Four weeks after the wind fair in Husum, the organisers are already looking forward to the next HUSUM Wind in 2021. 600 exhibitors from more than 25 countries, including 17 per cent international exhibitors, defied the current difficult market conditions to attend the show, which celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this year, and helped make it the success it was. After the core market of Germany, the top exhibitor countries were Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, France and the Netherlands. Companies from China, the USA and India were also among the exhibitors – primarily in the areas of components, service & maintenance, and materials.
“The feedback from the exhibitors was very good, especially with regard to the quality of the business contacts and the number of hot leads generated at the fair,” says Arne Petersen, Managing Director of Messe Husum und Kongress. “This positive response is also reflected in the very good rebooking figures for HUSUM Wind 2021 to date”. Exhibitor registrations received to date already amount to an area of almost 4,500 m², and options have been taken for a further 2,500 m². Firm bookings already include Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Nordex, Vensys Energy, wpd and EnBW, to name but a few.
HUSUM Wind 2019 confirmed its reputation as a personal contact exchange and successful networking platform for the German-speaking core market. The companies reported successful business transactions. The special topics of this year’s fair – Power-to-X, digitalisation and post-EEG models – met with lively interest from trade visitors; there was particularly strong interest in hydrogen and its subsequent use.
